Peter Raymond, CPA, CFE, is the Director of Financial Examinations for the Vermont Captive Insurance Division.

Peter is responsible for organizing and directing the operations of the examination staff. He has a staff of 23 full time examiners who perform financial and compliance examinations, and also perform the financial surveillance functions for the Captive Insurance Division.

Peter has been an examiner with the department for sixteen years. In addition to his examination responsibilities, for the past fourteen years Pete has also been involved in the process of reviewing new captive applications.

Peter received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lyndon State College. He has been a Certified Financial Examiner for ten years, and a Certified Public Accountant for the past nineteen years.

Peter has been promoted to Director of Captive Insurance, effective February 1, 2008.
