
Molly Lambert is President of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association, a member-based association whose mission is to educate, communicate, and advocate on behalf of the Vermont-domiciled captive insurance industry. Molly has led the association as President since 2002.
Prior to her work with VCIA, Molly served as the Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development, which included the Departments of Economic Development, Housing and Community Affairs, and Tourism and Marketing, as well as the Division for Historic Preservation and Vermont Life magazine.
Prior to this appointment, Molly spent several years as Executive Director of the Church Street Marketplace District in Burlington, Vermont, where she was an advisor and liaison to local and state government. In 1997, the National Urban Land Institute recognized the Church Street Marketplace as one of the nation's top-performing business improvement districts. Also in 1997, the National Main Street Center, a division of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, honored the Church Street Marketplace as a Great American Main Street, one of only five in the country.
Molly holds a BA in Social Work from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Administration from St. Michael's College in Vermont.
